M.C. Escher: Impossible Realities exhibition continues to break attendance records at the Akron Art Museum.
Impossible Realities provides the opportunity to survey the breadth of Escher’s career from the 1920s to the 1960s, showcasing 130 of the artist’s finest works. The show begins with his early book plates, then moves on to landscapes, tessellations and impossible worlds, concluding with his very last print, Snakes (1969).

Cleveland artist Sarah Kabot creates installations that toy with human perception. “[My work] encourages the viewer to question his or her own perceptions,” says Kabot. “The meaning, significance and even location of objects are not fixed. Potentially, everything could be different.”
