People of all ages are invited to learn how to use breathing and movement techniques to boost energy, improve balance and manage stress during Akron's World Tai Chi and Qigong Day 2018 event. This free community wellness program is being coordinated in real time with World Tai Chi and Qigong Day celebrations around the world. Our program includes demonstrations, audience participation and a special segment for kids. The two-hour program is suitable for adults of all ages and physical abilities, and children old enough to follow along.

Now in the tenth year of NG Energy sponsored gatherings, the core of this program is to raise awareness of the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong, both integrative health approaches recognized by the National Institutes of Health.

The event will take place in the museum's Bud and Susie Rogers Garden and will be led by NG Energy Founder and Certified Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor Nancy Gardner. Participants are asked to bring a lawn chair for this outdoor event.

In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held in the lobby.
