Wee-creatives crave active learning experiences that stretch the way they interpret the world. And meeting up with new friends similar in age and stage makes the journey more focused. This class encourages tots to explore real art objects, early art concepts and materials through playful whole-body movement activities and fine motor open-table work. Dress for messy fun.

$5/members, $10/nonmember child. Registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Kids Studio: Nick Cave-Inspired Fortnite Skinz

Best for ages 6 – 10

Aspiring artists need opportunities to question, make mistakes and test ideas. Guided by a practicing studio artist-educator, students engage with contemporary art up close, then funnel personal responses into inspiring oops, wows and what-ifs in the studio. Inventiveness using unique materials and exploring the creative process of art-making are key components to our studio experience. Dress for mess.

$5/members, $10/nonmember child. Registration required. Caregivers welcome to participate but not required to stay.

Apollo's Fire presents a Family Concert

April 6, 2019, 3 - 4 PM

Bach’s house was overflowing with kids and harpsichords, and he boasted that he could make “both an instrumental and a vocal ensemble” from his family. The 45-min. program ends with Apollo's Fire's famous Instrument Petting Zoo – parents and kids invade the stage and try the instruments!

FREE • 45-minute interactive concert for the Young & Young-at-Heart, ages 6 – 96 • Feel free to come and go, but we bet you'll want to watch the whole show!

No registration required. Seating is limited and will be available first come, first served.
