Downtown@Dusk, The Speedbumps

Enjoy live abstract Alternative music from The Speedbumps at the Downtown@Dusk concert. In addition to the concert, patrons can enjoy the following activities:

  • ArtCamp@Dusk, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, During ArtCamps@Dusk children 6 – 12 years will explore all kinds of fun, wacky and hands-on art activities in the museum’s classroom. Each session is free for members and $5 for non-members.
  • ArtTalk@Dusk, 7:30, Cycle Maniacs and Reckless Women by Collections Manager Arnold Tunstall

As if feasts for the ears and brains aren’t enough, you can also enjoy tasty treats from Old Carolina BBQ and quench your thirst with beer, sodas and water under the museum’s terrace. Stop inside and browse the gift shop. The museum’s galleries are open until 9 pm with paid gallery admission. Parking is free after 6 pm in the city deck adjacent to the library.


No smoking, pets, bottles, cans, bikes, skateboards, sporting equipment or chalk allowed. In case of inclement weather, concerts will take place inside the museum’s Beatrice Knapp McDowell Grand Lobby.
