Live Creative Studio

When the building is open, the museum does its best to run programs. In the unfortunate instance something unforeseen occurs, the museum works hard to contact possible participants and/ or find an alternate date.

Live Creative Studio

During the museum’s weekday hours, families are invited to pop-in for a hands-on artmaking challenge where they can explore the process of self-expression through the use of unique art mediums and techniques, guided by our friendly studio instructors.

Live Creative Studio

Live Creative Studio is continuing this fall with a slightly new format. You’ll find new artwork by local and regional artists on the walls of the gallery, new tools and toys for discovery, new materials and a slightly new format. The art-making space will shift from instructor-led activities to self-guided art making experiences. This means you can drop in ANY TIME the museum is open to explore, discover and create. The space is designed for all ages. These experiences will be offered in addition to our regular fall line-up of children and family programs. We hope to see you soon!

The Live Creative Studio is open during all open museum hours and requires no registration or additional fees.

Complimentary admission for members and all children (age 17 and under with an adult) every day. Regular museum admission applies for nonmember adults every day except Thursdays, when admission is free to all.

Exhibitions and programming in the Mary S. and David C. Corbin Foundation Gallery, including the Live Creative Studio, are made possible with support from the Mary S. and David C. Corbin Foundation with additional funding from OMNOVA Solutions Foundation, Peg’s Foundation, Robert O. and Annamae Orr Family Foundation, Charles E. and Mabel M.
