Family Day: Choose Your Own Adventure Family Weekend

Is your family up for an adventure? Come on down to the Museum (just drop-in, no registration necessary) and challenge yourself to scavenger hunts, gallery games, portrait puzzles, and more. Activities will be self-serve so you can go at your own pace and stay as long as you like. Adventures will be available for all ages.

AAM After Work: Art and Meditation

Do some spring cleaning in your mind with a meditation session inspired by the Museum’s Bud and Susie Roger’s Garden. In this session, an instructor from Akron’s Yoga Squared studio will lead a 30 minute, socially distanced outdoor meditation. Afterwards, participants are invited to take a mindful stroll through the garden and galleries. Free for members/$5 non-members. Advanced registration required and space is limited to ensure proper safety measures.

Relax after work with artist Jordan Wong and a scavenger hunt through his art installation in the Bud and Susie Rogers’ Garden. After the scavenger hunt, Wong will give a tour of his installation and reveal the solution to the game. Get a team together or join on your own for the chance to win a prize! Stop in any time after 5 pm for a guided game night in celebration of the exhibits Totally Rad and Totally Radical. A packet will be available for pick-up from the front desk that will guide visitors through a series of silly, engaging, and totally rad challenges.
