Andrew McAllister

After graduating from the Myers School of Art, University of Akron, Andrew McAllister opened a small commercial photography studio. Notable work undertaken in Akron includes his documentation of the Akron Art Museum’s 2007 building addition. In 2011 the artist moved to Northern Utah, where he works as the staff photographer at Utah State University. His personal work includes images of geographic features of the Western United States in areas including the Great Basin, the Colorado Plateau and the Snack River Plain, which he posts on his popular blog, Looking at the West.
