Dana Schutz

A 2000 graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art, Schutz received an MFA from Columbia University in 2002. She has received grants from the Louis Comfort Tiffany and Rema Hort Mann Foundations. Her work has been widely exhibited in the United States and Europe at such institutions as MOCA Cleveland, the Denver Art Museum, the Rose Art Museum, Brandeis University, Boston, MA; Site Santa Fe, NM; Contemporary Fine Arts, Berlin. Her work is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, CA. It has been featured in the Venice Biennale, the Prague Biennale and the Royal Academy of Arts, London. Schutz lives and works in New York City.
