Randy Bolton

Randy Bolton earned his BFA from the University of North Texas in 1978 and his MFA from The Ohio State University in 1982. Bolton has held visiting artist positions at a number of colleges and universities, including four years at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. From 1989 to 2002, Bolton was a professor of art and area coordinator for printmaking at the University of Delaware. Since 2002, he has served as Head of the Print Media Department and Artist in Residence at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. Bolton’s work has been widely exhibited in one-person, invitational, and juried exhibitions across the country and in Europe. Bolton’s prints are represented in many museum collections. He is the recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship (2000), an Art Matters (NYC) Fellowship (1996), and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship (1989).

Bolton currently lives and maintains his full-time studio practice in Fayetteville, TX.
