Amber Stucke

Amber Stucke is an artist, writer and naturalist who investigates evolutionary biology, consciousness, philosophy and the imagination in detailed drawings, prints and installations. Stucke earned her BFA from Barat College, Lake Forest, IL (2002) and her MFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco (2011). She has also studied briefly at Goldsmith’s College, London (2001) and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2000). The artist recently relocated to Cincinnati after living and exhibiting in the Bay Area for several years, where she also habitually foraged for mushrooms and other botanicals. Stucke is represented by Electric Works Gallery in San Francisco.
