More Information

In her paintings of historical buildings and domestic interiors, Isroff used color, patterning and witty details to establish mood. The loud floral bedspread, striped lampshades and tiny yellow table and chairs in this image evoke the uneasiness we feel in unfamiliar settings such as hotel rooms.
