More Information

Lucak made this photograph with a homemade pinhole camera. The device’s lack of a viewfinder adds an element of chance to the photographic process. Lucak finds that the images he shoots with a pinhole camera “have the authenticity of natural phenomena and look familiar, yet like nowhere on earth." Restricted Constellation reflects nature's--and the artist's--ability to transform a Cleveland industrial neighborhood into an ethereal, magical place.
