According to the officials at Sandia National Laboratories, their facility has 139 potential release sights for radioactive and hazardous waste to escape into the soil and groundwater across its 2,820 acres. Following World War II, Japanese science fiction films often featured creatures, including dinosaurs, mutated by nuclear fallout. The monsters caused catastrophic destruction to major cities, like the atomic bombs.
