Fondly recalling her first meeting with the Vogels, Taschler notes “I remember thinking [they] were like college kids, even though they were probably around the same age as my parents. They were charming, eccentric and ageless.” Taschler admired their artistic fervor. “They bought what they truly liked, not what people in the art world told them to buy.”
