This iconic image was captured by Lyon from the back of a bike while traveling with the Outlaws on a visit to the Louisville, Kentucky, chapter. The group was crossing one of the bridges from Kentucky into Southern Indiana. Lyon had asked the rider not to wear his helmet (visible hanging from his handlebars). Lyon recalls, “They were just making the helmet laws which everyone resented.”
