Located in the 5th century Mayan city of Chichen Itza, this step-pyramid is believed to be dedicated to the Toltec leader deified as Quetzalcoatl. From a 190-foot square base, the structure rises 80 feet in the air, its four staircases (each containing 91 steps for a total of 364) culminating in a raised platform (step 365) on which rests a temple.
