More Information

Bridges has pioneered the use of aerial photography in the fine arts with a focus on ancient earthworks and their modern, often industrial, counterparts. β€œIt was as if the landscape was a huge canvas,” Bridges explains. β€œI would take sections of it and work with it.” There are more than 70 Indian mounds in Ohio, most of which are burial sites of the Adena and Hopewell tribes.
