More Information

Sparky (Charles Ritter) and Cowboy (Irvin P. Dudson) were just out of the army (where they had met) and were now club members of the Gary Rogues. Lyon was 23 years old, the same age as Cowboy, and often portrayed a romantic view of his peers. A decade later, Cowboy had returned to his home and family in Utah, where he was convicted of murdering a drug-dealing informant of a motorcycle club leader in Salt Lake City.
