More Information

Her smile charms the birds to sing from the trees. Her pleasure in life is to cook delicacies like makdous (oil cured baby eggplants) for her children. Wissam has been a widow for a decade which is the cause of her sadness. When her son Nadim plays on the drums, Wissam moves her hips and dances like a spirit sprung from containment – too long alone.
