'Letter to My Daughter' and 'Letter to My Father', which expand upon Dugan’s ongoing series of photographs titled “Family Pictures." Both videos combine a simple montage of photographs (including both fine art photographs from Dugan’s public career and informal family photographs drawn from their personal archive) with voiceovers that take the form of letters to their titular subjects. The videos have a steady pace and their tone is poignant, heartfelt, and impressively open and honest.
