Upcoming Event Sip & Search: The Great Adult Egg Hunt at the Akron Art Museum

Move over kids, this egg hunt is for adults only! Race throughout the Museum’s campus to hunt down plastic eggs filled with candy, prizes, and raffle tickets. Admission includes your first glass of wine, beer, or mocktail and a pastry. Guests can also enjoy a cup of coffee to caffeinate them for the big game! Wear your elegant hat, fascinator, and spring ensemble (although you might want to wear shoes that help with the hunt!).

Your admission includes:

• Your first mimosa, beer, or mocktail to sip on
• A pastry to snack on
• Coffee to fuel your search
• Access to the galleries to explore what’s on view.

Spring attire is heavily encouraged: elegant hats, fascinators, and festive looks are welcome. Just be sure to wear shoes fit for a chase.

What might you find inside the eggs?

It wouldn’t be an egg hunt if eggs weren’t filled with chocolate, candy, and sweet treats. Some eggs will contain tickets to claim bottles of wine, and tickets to the Museum’s upcoming 80s-themed party, Circa Pop.

And there’s one single golden egg somewhere across the Museum. Whoever finds the golden egg will win a signed, numbered Mark Mothersbaugh print!

Admission is $20 for Members, $30 for Non Members. Limited tickets available.

Guests must be 21+ for this event.  This event will happen rain or shine. Admission includes access to the Museum’s galleries for the day.

We’re so eggs-cited to see you this Saturday for Sip & Search: The Great Adult Egg Hunt at the Museum. Here is some important information regarding the event:

• Date & Time: Saturday, March 28 from 10-noon
• Location: Akron Art Museum, 1 S. High St., Akron, OH 44308
• Parking: Public lots are across the street from the main entrance, while the Museum’s parking lot is behind the Museum on Broadway.
• Check-in instructions: Check-in begins at 10am at the front double-door entrance facing S. High Street.
• The hunt begins at 10:30am sharp!
• What to wear: Attendees are encouraged to dress in their spring soiree best with hats, fascinators, and costumes. If you’re planning on running around for the Egg Hunt, make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
• Admission is 21+ only; IDs may be checked at the door.

How the Hunt will work:

• Bring your own basket or bag for collecting eggs.
• The event will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for outdoor areas.
• We do not guarantee a minimum number of eggs per participant.
• There is no limit to how many eggs guests may collect.
• Over 2,500 eggs will be hidden throughout the Bud & Susie Rogers Garden, each containing a prize or treat.
• Select eggs will contain prizes such as a night stay at BLU-tique, Harvest Yoga class cards, wine, tickets for Circa Pop, Totally Baked Pizza gift cards, Cleveland Monsters, Akron Rubberducks, and Cleveland Charge tickets
• One golden egg will feature a signed, numbered Mark Mothersbaugh print.

After the egg hunt:

• A Fascinator Parade! Show off your best spring hats and fascinators with a causal parade during the party.
• Join us for sipping, snacking, and opening your eggs.
• Once prizes are distributed, you’re welcome to continue exploring the Museum galleries at your leisure.
