Experience an enchanting evening on the lawn of Akron Art Museum that celebrates the spirit of Northeast Ohio with excerpts from Swan Lake. This romantic ballet tells the tragic tale of Prince Siegfried who falls in love with Princess Odette, a woman cursed to be a swan by day and human by night.
The festive evening continues with Picnic, featuring Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s dances for piano and violin choreographed by Cleveland Ballet’s Artistic Director, Timour Bourtasenkov. The program concludes with the lively and energetic Dance of the Toreadors from Don Quixote, showcasing bravado, cape-swirling, and Spanish flair.
