8:00 – 10:30 pm
Join the Museum with Nightlight Cinema for a late-night feature of the cult favorite movie Twilight (2008). Three large screens will fill the lobby to create ample viewing locations, whether you choose to watch on the floor, sitting on a chair, or watching from above on the Museum’s second floor. Bring your fellow vampires and wolves, pillows and blankets for a drive-in style viewing.
While the film begins promptly at 8:15pm, there are plenty of activities to warm up your blood! The evening’s schedule:
12-6pm American Red Cross blood drive
6:30pm University of Akron’s Buchtel Brass Quintet performance in lobby
7:30pm Cash snack and drink bar opens
8:15pm Twilight (2008)
9pm Museum closes to public — please arrive prior to closure to be let in for film
10pm Galleries and bar close
10:30pm Program ends, Museum closes
Hands-on activities and self-guided 2000s era tour will be available throughout night. Activities include:
Body glitter for killer skin
Tween-vibe polaroid magnet station
Heart-throb button making
Please arrive prior to the Museum’s closure at 9pm to join the fun.
