Join the Museum for an engaging conversation with Georgia-based collectors, Wes and Missy Cochran, whose collection of works by African-American artists is displayed in RETOLD: African-American Art & Folklore. Dr. Tameka Ellington, who curated the exhibition on view, visited the Cochran’s while researching and hand-selected works from their bountiful collection.
The Cochran’s will begin the evening in the Museum’s auditorium for an introduction and will proceed into RETOLD: African-American Art & Folklore for their insights and personal experiences collecting the work.
