AKRON, OH – The Akron Art Museum is celebrating the total eclipse with a special free party, “The Sun, the Moon, and the Art.” This unique event promises a day filled with art, music, and activities to mark the extraordinary occurrence of a solar eclipse.
The Akron Art Museum is proud to be a free downtown Akron location for viewing the eclipse. The festivities kick off at 11 AM on Monday, April 8th, and will continue until 5 PM.
Attendees can immerse themselves in a curated collection of eclipse and solar-themed art, featuring works that capture the beauty and mystique of celestial phenomena. In addition to visual art, there will be a variety of engaging activities for participants to enjoy, creating a memorable experience tied to this once-in-a-lifetime event. Live DJs and exciting pop-ups will add to the vibrant atmosphere, ensuring a day filled with entertainment and artistic inspiration.
To further enhance the eclipse celebration, attendees can indulge in specially crafted refreshments, including eclipse-themed cocktails and mocktails, available for purchase throughout the event.
