Local Youth Artists and Entrepreneurs Selling Their Own Creations at The Akron Art Museum

Akron, OH: There’s nothing better than purchasing such incredible art and products from little humans with big spirits! The Akron Art Museum is proud to put an event designed for the public to buy directly from young artists, inventors, and entrepreneurs.

Family Day: Kids Maker Fest is happening Sunday, September 18th, at the Akron Art Museum in partnership with the Young Entrepreneurs Institute. Pick up gifts for your friends and families, decorations for walls and bookcases, or local merch to wear on your next night out.

Kids won’t just be selling things but will get to experience making their inventions and creations with the Akron Makers Space! Kids can spin and mold on the Potter’s Wheel, begin learning how to sew using sewing machines, combine metals with soldering, and get busy constructing with some power tools.

Akron Energy Systems will be providing a misting tent to keep everyone cool, while music and games will turn this shopping extravaganza into a full-blown afternoon event.

We invite everyone to come down to the Akron Art Museum and support Akron’s creative children with this unique event that gives our youth the ability to showcase their businesses. Learn more at www.akronartmuseum.org.
