The Akron Art Museum and the University of Akron are working together to make art more accessible to the UA community. Students, faculty, and staff with a valid UA Zip Card can enjoy free general admission to the Museum any day we are open.
At the heart of the partnership is the belief in the importance of access to meaningful art as a way to enrich quality of life, catalyze creative thinking, and encourage a greater sense of belonging.
In addition to the Museum collection galleries, which contain significant works by Mickalene Thomas, Andy Warhol, Nick Cave, and many others, UA visitors will have access to stunning temporary exhibitions. UA visitors can also check programs, events, and concerts.
