One of Boston's well known photographers, was listed with a gallery there from 1845 - 1862. From 1847 to 1850 he was listed as a daguerreian in business with Benjamin French as L.H. Hale & Co., 109 Washington Street, Boston. Also had a studio or office at 293 Washington St. which was stamped on the back of his carte de visite mounts.
