Jack Levine

A prominent American painter and printmaker associated with Social Realism and Boston Expressionism, known for his satirical, figurative critiques of political corruption, wealth, and social injustice. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Lithuanian Jewish immigrants, he studied at the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and became a key 20th-century artist.
