In 1985, the Akron Art Museum asked John Sokol to create a limited edition print as an art prize for patrons to the museum’s annual Masked Ball fundraiser. The resulting image, entitled Lovely Medusa, is a play on ancient mythology. This is the original drawing for the screenprint.
