More Information

Beneath the Manzano Mountains in southeast Albuquerque is a nuclear arsenal guarded by the Air Force at Kirtland. Containing over 400 nuclear devices, it is the nation’s largest supply of nuclear weapons. Nagatani got permission to set up a barbeque, located scarily close to the arsenal, in a neighboring yard. The F-16 Falcons, which are the planes used by the Air Force Thunderbird Performance Team, are models hung up by the artist.
