With his camera set up at the crossing of the Bluestone River, Link documented trains returning to the mines for more coal. The bridge and the train overwhelm the small country church below. Link, ever the civil engineer, wrote: “Look at the bridge. Look at its strength. It’s no problem for that bridge to carry all that weight. It’s just a beautiful sight.”
