More Information

The French village of Carnac and its surrounding area contains a number of megalithic sites. Some of these – such as the Great Menhir, also photographed by Bridges – consist of a single stone. This one, however, consists of numerous stones forming an alignment, meaning the stones are arranged according to orientation and placement.
