More Information

In Garda 1 and Garda 2, Pozzi was “dealing with how far one can get to make a watercolor visible with so little—almost invisible.” The drawings may be barebones representations of Lake Garda in Italy, which borders the hometown of Pozzi’s mother and is Italy’s largest lake. Located in the northern part of the country, Lake Garda is exceptionally long and narrow.
