Winterhaven is located in the southeast corner of California’s southeastern-most county and is bordered to the east by the Colorado River. The Winterhaven “stickman,” as it is known, is eighty feet high and perhaps 500 years old. It is believed to be either Mojave or Cocopath in origin.
