This lithograph almost certainly came from a portfolio of lithographs by related artists that was produced in Vienna in 1969, all with an edition number of 136/200. These other artists include Wander Bertoni, Fritz Wotruba and Erich (Arik) Brauer. The black and white composition includes a Christ-like figure above ground, then below ground an organic system of pipes and tubes oriented around a central brain. The work lends itself to multiple interpretations.
