Be among the first to experience the transformed 1899 Building at the Akron Art Museum, and experience Art Blooms 2026: Color Abounds, a special one-day-only flower show presented by the Akron Garden Club.

Get a first look at two floors of new exhibition space and newly transformed public spaces throughout the historic 1899 Building.

And for one day only, the Museum will be in full bloom.

The Akron Garden Club returns with Art Blooms 2026: Color Abounds, a vibrant Garden Club of America flower show bringing art and nature together throughout the Museum.

Sixteen imaginative floral designs will be paired with works of art, creating unexpected moments where flowers and fine art meet. Visitors can also explore an expansive horticulture display featuring seasonal specimens, orchids, cacti, kokedama, inventive container gardens, and more, along with a photography exhibition, botanical arts, and a conservation exhibit.

Known for their inventive and often unexpected approach, Garden Club of America flower shows draw participants from across the country. Nationally accredited judges will recognize standout entries across floral design, horticulture, photography, botanical arts, and more.

This is your only chance to experience Art Blooms 2026 and your first chance to explore the transformed 1899 Building, all in one visit.

Art Blooms 2026: Color Abounds is presented in partnership with the Akron Garden Club, whose members have long supported Akron’s arts and cultural community and previously brought flower shows to the Museum in 2001, 2011, 2015, and 2018.
