Past Event BabyFest: Build (Free Family Day)

Bring your littlest learns for a day of fun at the Akron Art Museum.

In celebration of the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s “Week of the Young Child,” this event focuses on the community’s youngest learners. Bring your little one (and siblings, of course) to this celebration and exploration of building & sculpting! Create artwork, visit sensory exploration stations, meet visitors from local early childhood organizations, and make priceless family memories.

Includes a performance from Mr. Jeff at 12:30pm.

Activities include:

• A giant building station with big building materials
• Packaging Peanut Building Station
• Playdoh building
• Model magic sculpting
• Cardboard sculpting
• Kinetic sand building

We will have a bunch of community partners onsite passing out various literatures and having different interactives:
