Past Event Camp Creative: All About Akron

Enjoy some imaginative fun in the sun as you explore this week’s guided Camp Creative theme: our beautiful city of Akron! Kids will explore, learn, and play as they engage in creation stations featuring various community organizations and unique, must-sees of Akron. Community partners will also be onsite sharing information about their specific offerings.

Partners include:

• Akron Art Museum: Baseball hat embellishing with stamps, beadwork, & sewing
• Stan Hywet: Lego Architecture Challenge
• Weathervane Playhouse: Karaoke & Dress Up Photobooth
• Akron Summit County Public Library: Button Making & SNAP Circuits
• Summit Metro Parks: Gyotaku Printing – “The Art of Fish Printing” – with an emphasis on our native fish and their sturgeon release celebration in September

Registration required. Ages 5-12. FREE member households/$15 non-member households. *Only one ticket is needed for the entire household to come enjoy the program for the day!*
