Past Event Community Night: Mapping Akron

Wick Poetry Center’s current Knight Foundation-funded project, Mapping Akron, explores residents’ sense of belonging to their neighborhoods through poetry. All are welcome to join this project. This free evening includes local poet performances from Wick’s community partners:

– Akron-Summit County Public Library

– Coventry High School

– Edgewood Village

– Jennings CLC

– Leadership Akron

– Our Lady of the Elms School

– Project Learn

– SCOPE Academy

-Summit County Juvenile Detention Center

Performances will begin at 6:15pm.
