2:00 – 4:00 pm
Join us for a day of hands-on Native arts education. This workshop, led by Northern Cheyenne artist, Alaina Buffalospirit, is an introduction to the history and practice of traditional ledger art painting. Alaina is an enrolled memer of the So’taa’ee band of the Northern Cheyenne Nation whose work combines illustration, tradition, and a celebration of feminine elegance. This two-hour hands-on workshop connects traditional storytelling, Native history, and fine art for visual arts educators, classroom teachers, and lifelong learners. Professional development paperwork for submission to LPDCs available upon request.
Registration for the workshop is $15 and includes gallery admission, supplies, and light refreshments. Workshop capacity is limited to twenty-five participants.
