Past Event The Sun, the Moon, and the Art – Eclipse Day at AAM

Explore a collection of eclipse and solar-related art and plenty of art activities to tie into the once-in-a-lifetime event. There will also be live music and other exciting pop-ups.

The Pneuhaus Compound Camera art installation will be set up in the Bud & Susie Rogers Garden: The Compound Camera is an immersive dome made of 109 inflatable pinhole cameras that each cast a live projection of the surrounding environment. Together they create a stunning tessellated panorama likened to standing inside the eye of a fly. Visitors are encouraged to touch the textile walls to adjust the focal range of the image just as our own eyes relax and contract to focus.

Refreshments, including special eclipse-themed cocktails and mocktails, will be available for purchase.

This event has a non-refundable $5 reservation fee per order due to high demand and limited space to ensure the best experience possible for all. Up to 3 guests per reservation order can be added.
