Akron – The Akron Art Museum will hold its popular craft beer tasting event, Art & Ale on Saturday, October 10, 2020. The wildly popular event will be held as a virtual, at-home experience. There is now just one session for the program, taking place from 6:00PM – 7:30PM. Art & Ale pairs exceptional craft brews with a delicious catered meal. This year, meals will be delivered to each ticket-holder’s home on the day of the event. Attendees can expect an online program featuring special guest speakers and exciting musical entertainment. Tickets are available through our website.
Akron Art Museum Interim Executive Director Jon Fiume said, “Museums need to engage visitors in relevant, surprising ways especially during these unprecedented times. Art & Ale is a great example of a virtual experience Akronites can’t get anywhere else–good times, brews, and incredible entertainment all from the comfort and safety of your home.”
This event will feature a curated collection of crafted brews which include a pre-release of Thirsty Dog’s 12 Dogs of Christmas and a beer-inspired meal delivered to each ticket-holder’s home.
