Kent State University’s Animation Game Design (AGD) program is a nationally accredited degree program that gives students the artistic knowledge and technical skills valued in digital media industries. The 120-credit hour Bachelor of Science (BS) degree includes required courses in 2D and 3D animation, art, history, and mixed reality with additional electives in Computer Science, sound production, video editing, and creative writing. Students are able to choose between concentrations in Animation and Game Design, allowing them to focus in their area of interest. Students develop their portfolios through team-based, project-based, and internship courses that provide real-world experience and collaborative skills.
